ECOTOURISM PARK IN TONALA, JALISCO, MEXICO.


MASTER PLAN AND ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN OF ECOTOURISM PARK IN TONALÁ, JALISCO, MEXICO, AS PART OF A NEW SATELLITE CITY DEVELOPMENT, WITH AN AREA OF OVER 600 HECTARES (2006-08, IN PROGRESS).

 

Within an urban/housing megadevelopment plan in Tonalá, Jalisco, México, Mr. Ceballos-Lascuráin   is designing  an Ecotourism Park, with an area of over 600 hectares, comprising the following elements:


1. Park Administration
2. 40-cabin  Ecolodge (20  in Phase I)
3. Interpretive Center
4. Environmental  Education and Conference Center
5. Interpretive nature  trails
6. Bicycle paths 
7. Horse-riding paths
8. Look-out points
9. Camping area
10. Entry, parking areas, low-impact road system
11. Exclusive ecological residences (upmarket)
12. Ecological farm
13. Alternative technology exhibit area
